Survey closes soon! Make your voice heard
What are the issues facing your organisation? Have the needs of your service users increased? Are you recruiting more volunteers?
Completing this important State of the Sector survey will help us to determine the impact that recent policy changes and the economic climate are having on your organisation and the service users you support. We need as many voluntary sector organisations as possible to complete the survey to get a clear idea of the issues in order to strengthen the sector’s voice.
What have we found so far?
Of the 90 organisations that have responded so far, most of you are telling us that the economic climate has had a negative impact on your finances in the last three years, and that you have noticed that the needs of your service users have increased. Is this what your organisation and service users are experiencing? Tell us your story.
Why is this so important?
The information you'll be giving us is vitally important as it will help us to develop our evidence base, informing the crucial work we do to support organisations such as yours, helping us to advocate on your behalf, and lobby the Government and other key decision makers.
Last year, nearly 300 organisations responded to our survey, helping us to evidence the difficulties organisations like yours were experiencing and allowing us to campaign on behalf of the sector. You can download the 2013 report here. The information you provide will be anonymised, and published in our State of the Sector report for 2014.
How do I take part?
You can complete the survey by clicking here. It will only take 20-30 minutes. Please have recent information about your organisation's finances, staffing and strategy to hand. This can usually be found in your annual report or, if you're a registered charity, on the Charity Commission website.
