November highlights
As 2018 begins to draw to a close, we have been thinking about the impressive impact we've seen from creative projects in criminal justice settings so far this year - and how we can support this in to next year and beyond. This month we met with government ministers to discuss how arts organisations can not only support people in the criminal justice gain skills and find employment, but lead the way in coming years in shifting public opinion and challenging stereotypes. We are also developing a consultation response to shape Arts Council England's upcoming 10-year strategy, and have shared guidance on this to support our members to do the same. Our key messages
We're pleased to share our new publication, Why do arts in criminal justice matter? The flyer outlines our key messages and strategy for what we would like to see happen in the criminal justice system. It includes key evidence, quotes and images to advocate the importance of the work of our membership in a simple and effective way. We hope it proves to be useful resource for us and the sector. Please get in touch at info@artsincriminaljustice.org.uk if your organisation would like hard copies. Read the flyer

Please contact rebbecca.hemmings@clinks.org if you are interested in piloting the tool.
