Clinks are assessing the needs of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector working in Criminal Justice and Community Safety across Wales to inform our future work. In collaboration with researchers from the Centre for Criminology at the University of South Wales (USW) and the Welsh Centre for Crime and Social Justice (WCCSJ), we have designed a quick (15 minute) survey for VCSE organisations that deliver services in Wales.
Why complete our survey?
Clinks work to support the VCSE Sector delivering community safety and criminal justice services across England and Wales. However, we want to gain a better understanding of the unique nature of services and your support needs in Wales.
Clinks have never undertaken a scoping study of Welsh based organisation/services before; working with the University of South Wales and WCCSJ we are confident this will generate a much clearer picture as to what you are delivering and what support needs you have.
The findings will shape our services, tailoring them to a Welsh context. However, the result will only be as good as the response we get.
The end result
Researchers from the USW and WCCSJ will compile a report to highlight the shape of the Sector and the needs of local organisations. This will enable Clinks to provide targeted services to the VCSE sector in Wales and work in a more strategic way with key partners such as WCVA, Wales Probation, Youth Justice Board Cymru, Integrated Offender Management Cymru, Police and Crime Commissioners, Prisons, Welsh Government and devolved services and the private sector.
