If your organisation works directly with clients experiencing multiple needs we want to hear from you.
Clinks, as part of the MEAM coalition, will be delivering Voices from the Frontline, a project that aims to bring the voices of people with multiple needs and those who support them to the heart of the policy debate.
To start the project we are surveying our contacts to try to understand how two policy areas, access to services (commissioning changes) and access to benefits (welfare changes), are impacting on those with multiple needs.
People with multiple needs are defined as:
- Experiencing several problems at the same time such as offending, mental ill health, homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse and family breakdown;
- Having ineffective contact with services; and
- Living chaotic lives.

This survey is our first step in building a picture of how these important policy areas are seen and experienced by people with multiple needs and those working closely with them. The findings will inform our work over the next two years, which will help shape both national and local policy both in the run up to the general election and beyond.
