Are you new to service user involvement work?
Would you like to change how you involve your service users, but aren’t sure where to start?
If so, this meeting of our service user involvement managers’ network is for you!
You’ll hear from organisations who have successfully introduced service user involvement into the heart of their work, and from ‘experts by experience’ who are now helping to shape the services they use.
There will be plenty of practical advice as well as opportunities to discuss the challenges you face and how to take the next steps.
Involving people and families with lived experience in designing and delivering services is key to the difference we can make in the lives of people in contact with the Criminal Justice System. Yet Clinks’ State of the Sector 2016 survey showed only a third of organisations were involving their service users in the design and delivery of services.
This event aims to help change that, and equip you to make meaningful service user involvement a reality at your organisation.
This event is for Clinks members only (click here to check if you are a Clinks member, and click here to join Clinks) The network is aimed at practitioners managing service user involvement in their organisation, and those looking to begin or improve the way they engage their service users.
Lunch will be provided from 1pm.
