The National Women’s Prisons Health and Social Care Review (Women’s Review) is a partnership between NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I), and Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). Its purpose is to improve health and social care outcomes for women in prison and upon their release. It will report in Summer 2022.
On behalf of the Women’s Review, Dr Kate Paradine, Chief Executive of Women in Prison and Jenny Talbot, Independent Chair of the Women’s Review, invite you to join them for an online workshop. The event will describe the Women’s Review, update delegates on emerging findings and answer questions. We are especially keen to hear about your work and ways in which the voluntary sector provide support and services to women in prison.
Workshop objectives:
- To provide an update on the Women’s Review and emerging findings, to answer questions and hear feedback
- To hear from delegates about their own work and priorities for improving health and justice outcomes for women, including challenges
- To invite and encourage delegates to share positive practice examples from the own work.
This event is for voluntary sector organisations.
