3SC manages contracts on behalf of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations. The delivery of public services is a difficult and competitive marketplace, dominated by large commercial organisations that can lack the person-centred and inclusive approach to public services that the VCSE sector excels at delivering. 3SC gives these organisations a chance to compete for, and ultimately deliver, such contracts. We have built supply chains and worked with more than 550 different delivery organisations across 16 programmes in the welfare to work/employment, young people, criminal justice, and disabilities’ arenas. 3SC has supported and enabled the VCSE sector to access more than £62 million since its inception through our directly delivered contracts and Transforming Rehabilitation activities. We believe that the needs of people using public services, especially those who are hardest to reach, are best met by experienced, local, passionate and mission-driven organisations.

Adfam works with and for families affected by drug and alcohol use, and is the leading national charity driving forward good practice in substance-related family work. Adfam offers publications, training and a website; it runs projects working with various isolated communities and has Family Support Workers delivering services in Peterborough prison.

We are a charity supporting community organisations that give free advice to the general public. Our members provide access to advice for over two million people a year. We provide a range of services including insurance, second-tier support, training and vocational qualifications.

The British Youth Council, the national youth council of the UK, aims to empower young people, aged 25 and under, to have a say and be heard in the UK and overseas. This is through a programme of education, research, training, volunteering, representation and advocacy opportunities. The charity is membership based & exclusively youth-led. It was formerly registered no. 305973 until 31 March 2009.

Circles UK seeks greater public protection by working towards a substantial reduction in sexual offending, providing a range of services to local Circles of Support and Accountability providers. Further, it aims to develop greater public understanding of community approaches to public protection.

The FRN is the national body which supports, assists and develops 167 charitable furniture reuse operations with 400 sites across the UK to aid the reduction of poverty by helping households access furniture and white goods. These member organisations provide work placement opportunities for a variety of client groups.
Our network of reuse centres stock high-quality, affordable household items including furniture, electrical appliances, IT equipment and more.

Activities:

Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) is a coalition of Clinks, Homeless Link and Mind formed to improve policy and services for people facing multiple needs. Together the charities represent over 1,300 frontline organisations and have an interest in the criminal justice, substance misuse, homelessness and mental health sectors.

NAAN provides information, advice and training for organisations delivering appropriate adult services in England and Wales. We work with our members, the government and others to improve the quality of service to children and vulnerable adults in police custody.
NAAN is a registered charity aiming to ensure the rights and welfare of the most vulnerable people in our society by developing effective appropriate adults. We are a membership organisation open to organisations and individuals. We don't provide appropriate adults but many of our member organisations do.

Novus delivers education,training & employability services to offenders across the UK within prisons, Approved Premises & the community.

RECOOP promotes the care, resettlement and rehabilitation of older offenders and ex-offenders, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of support, advocacy, mentoring and advice on finance, housing and health that will enable them to take control of their lives and remain free from offending and prevent them from becoming socially excluded. We offer consultancy, training and direct services aimed at supporting prisons, probation staff and other organisations, including third-sector organisations, to build the range, capacity and skills necessary to meet the needs of older offenders in custody and through the resettlement transition. A number of our services are available through the Prison Education Framework Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). These include our day centre and buddy support management and training services, in-cell distraction packs and our older ‘Transition’ resettlement course.

The Restorative Justice Council provides quality assurance and the national voice for the field of restorative practice

The RJC is the independent third sector membership body for the field of restorative practice. Our patron is HRH, the Princess Royal.

Our members are practitioners, training providers, organisations providing restorative practice across the country, and individual supporters. All RJC members receive monthly e-bulletins and quarterly newsletters, dedicated member-only resources and forums online, discounted entry to RJC events, and free telephone advice.

We provide quality assurance for the public through our work on best practice, standards and accreditation; our online national Trainers Register and Practitioner Register; and through our Practitioner and Trainer Codes of practice.

We are the national voice for restorative practice, advocating for the development of restorative practice with Government and providing information to the public.

The Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) International Institute is a charitable NGO with a mission to advance community cohesion and human rights. We redistribute power in a more equal way by delivering social justice projects, educational programmes and high quality volunteering opportunities to the most marginalised groups of society.

We do this by using the power of education, sports and art, as well as the practices (mediation, conferencing, circles, dialogue, workshops) and values of restorative justice including power sharing, fairness, equality, dignity and respect.

Revolving Doors Agency works with partners to change systems and improve services for individuals with multiple, complex needs and poor mental health who are in repeat contact with the criminal justice system.

Our ambition is that anyone experiencing the revolving door of crisis and crime receives effective support to reach their potential, with fewer victims of crime and safer communities as a result.

We do not deliver services to individuals but provide independent consultancy services to commissioners, providers and policymakers applying our systemic understanding of the 'revolving door' problem. We help partners develop practical solutions to meet local needs based on sound evidence and the involvement of service users.

In supporting our partners we draw on our respected position and our extensive network of influence extending from Whitehall to the town hall and engagement with national and local agencies including the police, probation, local authorities and the NHS.

We provide direct support services within the community for ex-offenders, older people and people in debt. We work to support ex-offenders in the resettlement process, which includes offering supported housing and help with personal and practical development, with the aim of reducing the risk of reoffending.

We have a referral process and accept referrals from various statutory providers, voluntary sector providers and in person. All new referrals complete a referral form and risk assessment before being offered accommodation.


All clients take part in a support planning process. Each client has a support worker and regular reviews of the support plan take place. We use the outcome star to work with clients to help them to identify the various actions needed to address their journey to independent living away from offending.

All clients are able to access our training, volunteer mentoring scheme, opportunities for volunteering and our debt advice service.
