Clean Slate Training & Employment
Clean Slate creates and supports paid work opportunities for long-term unemployed people facing barriers to employment. Our process includes a 2 day job preparation, training and personal development course, which encourages confidence building and action planning. We have walk-in centres in the West of England and South London where peer advocates (long-term unemployed people) are employed as Work Champions, delivering support, advice and guidance to other jobseekers. Clean Slate also directly employs people through its enterprises: a distribution and packing service (Clean Slate Distribution) and a handyperson business (The HandyHelp Company).
