Young people face a number of challenges in today’s society. Entering adulthood comes with its own demands. We at Jigsaw Recovery Project are at hand to help with that transition. Not only do our staffs have lived in experience but we have also taken on education to offer a holistic approach to young care leavers.
We work with a number of outside agencies to help our young care leavers live a more rounded successful and independent life. We have faith in the process of positive change and we partner our support service with counselling, employment and learning development services, to give our young care leavers the opportunity to thrive in adulthood. We operate a “clean slate” policy and are prepared to work with young care leavers as we believe in an open door environment, with addition of trust and boundaries. The aim is that if a young care leaver is willing to engage and take this opportunity then there is no reason why anyone can be left behind.
