St Mungo’s supports over 10,000 homeless and vulnerable people in London and the South each year. Our work focuses on three main areas: • Providing emergency services e.g. emergency shelters, hostels and outreach teams. • Supporting homeless people in their recovery – this includes drug and alcohol treatment, providing access to physical and mental healthcare and developing independent living skills. • Preventing homelessness – our support teams work with a range of vulnerable people e.g. former rough sleepers and ex-offenders. We also offer high support housing to nearly 400 people at risk of sleeping rough. In 2011/12, our Offender Management Services saved over 1,000 tenancies.
