Nurture/St George's Crypt

St Georges Crypt is a Christian Charity which has been based in the heart of Leeds since 1930. We provide practical care and support to homeless, disadvantaged and vulnerable adults, regardless of their race, religion or circumstances.
Our main services include providing a hot meal to approx 70 people, an overnight care centre with 15 bedrooms and up to 20 temporary beds. Resettlement to move people on into their own accommodation. Two residential projects - Faith Lodge which is a place of recovery and Regent Terrace for dependant drinkers.
Nurture is our social enterprise providing professional catering, we offer service users, ROTL and ex-offenders the opportunity to gain experience, achieve qualifications and possible employment. To date we have found employment in our organisation for 12 people from prison and 2 from Probation. On October 2014 Nurture won the award for Employer of Offenders 2014. We are hoping that winning the award will help us secure funding.
