Certitude runs Beyond Prison, a Prison Mentoring & Resettlement service which provides a range of support; this includes Peer Mentoring coaching, goal setting, intensive support for Mentors in supporting other offenders in custody, volunteering, Mental Health workshops, in-Prison Mental Health & Mentoring Education and support, BAME work. We hope to resume our formerly successful resettlement and through the gate aspect of our service in 2015. Improving the skills and confidence for the offenders that participate in our programme so they can build a future 'Beyond Prison'. The aim of Beyond Prison is to improve well-being by adopting a holistic and person centred approach to Peer Mentoring and reduce the likelihood of re-offending for those being released from Prison.
Certitude also works in partnership with BEH Mental Health Trust, providing a forensic Employment,Training & Education Service. We take referrals from the forensic teams in North London.
