We are an award-winning women’s theatre company & a leading force for equality, participation & change based in a women’s centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. We develop authentic theatre informed by the lived experiences of women and girls excluded from society and theatre, from marginalised groups and women affected by the criminal justice system, for personal, social and systemic change.
Founded in 1998, the impact of our work has brought us global acclaim in the intersection of theatre and social justice. Our work is supported by our cocreators, collaborators and the partnerships we nurture in the women’s service sector, grassroots community organisations and academia.
