Freedom Support Network is a Charity organisation whose primary purpose is providing support to BAME women ex-offenders after release from prison; to help them reintegrate back into society. We have various programmes that we run to support this in initiative. We provide support services such as counselling; coaching; training (personal development skills such as confidence; self-awareness workshops; back-to-employment skills, business acumen skills, etc); and advisory and sign-posting services to our women. According to our findings; BAME women are being discriminated against throughout the justice system. BAME women face discrimination in many aspects of life; including employment; housing; and social support. This is often compounded by gender and racial biases, making it difficult for BAME women ex-offenders to reintegrate into society and achieve stability. However; with our programmes, we work to improve the lives of our service users, and improve their well-being.
