We grew from a social enterprise founded in 2014, Prosper 4 Group (P4G) supporting employment for ex-offenders. Resume now promotes employment, enterprise, and self-employment, and we concentrate on marginalised people; or, promote “inclusive employment”. We genuinely pursue collaboration with other charities and actively seek cooperative working - which we see as different to the norm. Our goal is to accelerate the social impact of other causes by helping their clients progress to desired sustainable employment or start a new enterprise.
Currently, we run two programmes:
“Project Venture” a self-employment programme focused on supporting ex-offenders to start their own small businesses as entrepreneurs (we have re-named it this year from “Project Re-MAKE”, as Venture inspires more opportunity); and,
“Bridge of Hope” an inclusive employment project - (see: https://resumefoundation.org.uk/pf/the-bridge-of-hope/) promoting employment for marginalised people.
