We are a Trafford charity founded in 1975 to improve the mental and emotional health of our community. We offer one-to-one, relationship and family counselling in a range of languages for
anyone over the age of 5; as well as peer support groups and open-access training courses. We offer all services free of charge to anyone with a household income under £30,000.
We also work in partnership with other organisations to provide a holistic service to identified user groups : Homestart Trafford, Salford & Wigan; Trafford Domestic Abuse Service; The Manchester Probation Office; Cleanstart Trafford.
Our Altrincham centre includes a community café and meeting space for community groups/activities which are used by 400+ people each week. We offer supported volunteer placements to 75 people, including people with learning difficulties and mental health needs.
All our counselling services are accredited by The British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.
