Commissioning and collaboration training
Dates: 25th September 2013, London & 26th September 2013, Taunton
Cost: £30 members, £40 non-members, £95 public/private sector
Clinks have partnered with NAVCA to provide a quality training course at minimal cost that tackles some of the most current issues in criminal justice. Nathan Dick of Clinks will provide an overview of the current commissioning environment, including what is happening in Transforming Rehabilitation, what role Police and Crime Commissioners play, what links there are to new health commissioners, and how the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector can play a critical role. This will provide detailed information and valuable insight. Rachel Rhodes of NAVCA will be on hand to explain how collaboration can help you to succeed in this new environment and support you to assess what sort of partnership models suit your needs, from informal networks to formal consortia.
Our training is aimed at VCSE service delivery organisations as well as local support and development organisations. We recommend this training to organisations that are trying to better understand the opportunities and challenges of the criminal justice commissioning landscape as well as those who want to assess the benefits of collaboration and what practical models they could adopt to achieve it.
