Involving service users in governance

This members-only afternoon network event will explore different ways to involve service users in governance. You will hear practical examples of how organisations involve people with lived experience in their governance arrangements, and have the opportunity to discuss the recent Charities Act legislation and what you need to do to recruit or retain people with convictions as trustees.
Regional criminal justice forums - the role of the voluntary sector and PCCs in reducing re-offending

This forum will focus on how Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) and the voluntary sector can work in partnership together to reduce reoffending. You will have the opportunity to hear about what PCCs are doing in your area, and discuss opportunities for the voluntary sector to be involved, as well as all the usual updates and networking opportunities available at our forums. At Taunton and Manchester this will be followed by an afternoon event, giving you the option to attend two events with less travel.Can social investment help you?
