An insider’s view of prisons and probation today
Our members are at the heart of what we do, so Clinks was delighted to hold the ‘An insider’s view of prisons and probation today’ event showcasing the life-changing work of our members working in criminal justice to delegates from livery companies and charitable trusts.
Hosted by Alderman William Russell and Clinks, it gave a flavour of the inspirational work our members do and explained the many challenges they face, one of the biggest of which is funding. Clinks will continue to encourage funders to provide support to those working in criminal justice, and to share funding opportunities with our members. We hope to run more events like this in the future to give more members the opportunity to share the work they do with funders and to raise the profile of the sector.
"I enjoyed having the opportunity to tell more people about what happens in the prison workshops and coaching sessions and how change happens in those young people ... it makes me proud to be part of such a powerful and important cause." - Spark Inside, Clinks member.
