State of the sector survey - only 2 weeks left to respond
“Demand has increased and it’s difficult to manage so we are thinking about narrowing our criteria”
"We have just continued to work harder, we have skilled staff who have taken it in their stride but that is not sustainable”
Do these statements sound familiar? Or are your experiences of the last year in the sector different? Are you able to meet the needs of your service users? How are you faring this year?
If you work with Black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) people in contact with the Criminal Justice System...
...we need to hear from you. With the Lammy Review finding that over half of the UK-born BAME population agree that ‘the Criminal Justice System discriminates against particular groups’, it's more important than ever that your voice is heard.
People from BAME communities experience unique needs and we want to make sure we can represent your organisation in this year's state of the sector report. This is your chance to tell your story and help us influence decision makers. Please complete our state of the sector survey here.
How your responses will be used
Your anonymised responses will contribute to a report which will be shared with our network of 15,000 contacts and sent to key policy decision makers. We rely on your up-to-date information so we can present the latest findings to government. Last year's findings were presented to Ministers at the Ministry of Justice, senior officials at National Offender Management Service, at the Office for Civil Society, submissions to Lords and Commons select committees, and to the Government Relations Team at No.10.
The survey will close on the 16th December – don’t miss your chance to be heard.
