Does this sound familiar?
Last year, we found the basic needs of people in the criminal justice system are increasingly unmet by statutory provision driving them into desperate situations.
Charities and social enterprises are working relentlessly, in difficult circumstances, to support increasing numbers of people who are coming to them with more complex and urgent needs.
They’re responding by developing and delivering new services and working in partnership to share knowledge and resources but increasing caseloads are putting staff and volunteers under pressure.
Tell us how things have changed for your organisation over the past year so we can continue to meet your needs.
What we'll do with your responses
Clinks supports, promotes and represents the voluntary sector working in the criminal justice system. We regularly meet with key decision makers to advocate for your role and expertise in government policy.
With your help, we'll identify key trends impacting the sector, the challenges you’re facing and your successes. We'll raise the issues that matter most to you and the people you support with the government.
In response to last year's findings, we've supported organisations to explore alternative fundraising, promoted your inspirational and innovative work to funders, and assisted organisations to support staff and volunteers through training.
How to take part
If you’re from a voluntary organisation working with people in contact with the criminal justice system or their families, we want to hear from you.
We’ll ask about your organisation’s criminal justice work, the clients you support, commissioning and referrals, staffing and volunteers.
Respond by 5th July for your chance to influence policy makers and share your organisation’s story.
