Mental health for people in prison
Clinks is looking for case studies from voluntary organisations working in prisons supporting good mental health. In particular, we want to know about projects with a focus on supporting good mental health for people from black, Asian, and minority ethnic (BAME) communities and other equalities groups. This will help inform the development of a model for a whole prison approach to good mental health, as part of a Health and Wellbeing Alliance work programme we are leading. Please email case studies to Will Downs will.downs@clinks.org

Clinks’ response will highlight the particular impact that contact with the criminal justice system has on the mental health of men and boys, and the challenges faced in supporting good mental health amongst this group. The submission deadline is 18th February 2019. Find out more here
