Prison design consultation events
How can the prison estate become less crowded, better organised and increasingly made up of modern, fit for purpose accommodation?
As part of the Government’s strategy on Prison Safety and Reform, the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) is undertaking a major investment of £1.3bn to modernise the prison estate.
Clinks, in partnership with NOMS, have organised three consultation events to gain research, evidence and feedback from voluntary organisations to develop a set of design principles based on lessons learned from the current estate. The events will bring together voluntary organisations with the NOMS Prison Estates Transformation Programme and the architects that are drawing up the new designs. They have been organised to allow for different voluntary organisations to inform the new design:
- Prison design consultation | For voluntary organisations that deliver family services in prisons | 22nd February, 2pm – 5pm | Book here
- Prison design consultation | For voluntary organisations that deliver through the gate resettlement services| 1st March, 10am – 1pm | Book here
- Prison design consultation | For voluntary organisations that deliver services within the prison | 3rd March, 2pm – 5pm | Book here
Space is limited, so book today to ensure you can have your say on the future design of our prison estate.
These free events are exclusive to Clinks members. Check if you're a member here, and find out more about joining Clinks here.
