NOMS and MoJ grant engagement events
26th July, York | 27th July, London
Clinks is hosting two half-day engagement events in partnership with the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to discuss a grants programme for voluntary sector organisations to support the prison reform agenda.
Over a number of years, NOMS and MoJ have provided a grants programme for voluntary sector organisations working to reduce reoffending. They will shortly be advertising and inviting applications for a one-off grant from 2016 – 2017 for activity taking place in the six early adopter reform prisons, all of which are adult male prisons. The total value of this grant fund is £1.7m - the minimum grant for individual organisations is £30,000 and the maximum is £150,000. The programme is expected to begin 30th September 2016. Activity may be limited to one prison or cover multiple sites. The prisons are:
- HMP Coldingley
- HMP Highdown
- HMP Holme House
- HMP Kirklevington Grange
- HMP Ranby
- HMP Wandsworth
The events will include a presentation from MoJ/NOMS introducing the grants programme, and representatives from the reform prisons will describe the prisons and discuss what they require. There will also be an opportunity for you to network and ask questions. Spaces are limited so please book early to guarantee your place.
