Tackling multiple disadvantage summit
May 8th-9th, Milton Keynes, from £75
The Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) coalition is holding its second National Summit on tackling multiple disadvantage. MEAM is formed of Clinks, Homeless Link and Mind, working together to improve policy and services for people facing multiple needs. People facing multiple disadvantage often go unrecognised by services and systems mostly designed to deal with one issue at a time.
This summit will bring together a vibrant network of people with lived experience, service providers, commissioners and policy makers; each with different skills and expertise, all committed to achieving change. The programme is online now, and features over 33 workshops and talks from experts in the field covering topics including: ending homelessness, employment, empowering people with lived experience, understanding intersecting identities and more.
Working together we will assess progress, inspire and challenge each other, and discuss the next steps in tackling multiple disadvantage.
We are offering a 10% discount on a one or two day ticket for Clinks members with an annual income of less than £1 million. For more information and to book a discounted ticket, please email Kate Alaway at Homeless Link quoting reference Clinks10 and your membership number.
