Join us at Clinks’ 2018 State of the sector report launch
29th November, London, free
We are launching our State of the sector report at this afternoon event. Clinks has been collecting information about how voluntary organisations working in criminal justice are faring for the last six years. Again this year, our research has highlighted the sector’s many successes, as well as uncovering some of the significant challenges organisations face.
We know that many people in contact with the criminal justice system are protected under the Equalities Act (2010) and have distinct needs. In recognition of this we included an additional thematic focus to our 2018 research exploring how organisations are recognising and responding to the particular needs and vulnerabilities of people protected under the Act.
Join us to:
- Hear the main findings from this year’s research
- Learn how Clinks responded to the findings from our report last year
- Discuss how you can work to ensure the needs of people with protected characteristics can be identified and addressed.
We want to see voluntary organisations continue to make a huge impact on people’s lives, supporting them to achieve their ambitions as they move along their desistance journey. We look forward to you joining the conversation and informing Clinks’ future work.
