We're seeking people with a background in social care, mental health and/or education, who have high levels of empathy and attention to detail, to help us review the reports, and work with us to improve their quality.
Almost 500 prisoners a year complete our six-week distance learning course, which helps them get better at avoiding violence, managing anger and handling conflict. You will be one of our network of volunteers who assess the participants' coursework, to evaluate how well they have met the course objectives.
You will be making a tangible difference to the lives of people who are desperate to escape from an enduring cycle of conflict. Through assessing their coursework you'll gain an insight into their motivations, and thought-processes, from which you'll develop a response to reinforce our approaches to conflict resolution. Full training given.
