C2C Social Action is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Women’s Wellbeing Coach to join our team working across Northamptonshire, who will play a vital role supporting women that are on probation orders or leaving prison.
C2C Social Action supports people at any stage of the criminal justice system across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, working in partnership with many agencies including, The Probation Service, NHFT and a large number of other statutory and third sector agencies. We deliver high quality person centred support to adults involved in the criminal justice system with varying needs, including risky offending behaviour, mental health difficulties, domestic abuse, substance misuse, debt, homelessness and much more.
The post holder will be part of a multi-agency team providing person-centred support, focusing on addressing a range of issues faced by service users referred by The Probation Service. Interventions will focus on addressing the following: Families and significant others, Lifestyles and Associates, Social Inclusion, Emotional Wellbeing, Accommodation, Finance, Benefit and Debt, Dependency and Recovery, Employment Training and Education
Key Deliverables
- Provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will be female adults aged 18 years and above, serving community sentences or being released from prison.
- Complete Trauma Informed assessments and develop in collaboration with service user Action Plans which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
- Deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes including group work sessions where required.
- Work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales and in line with specified quality standards.
- Proactively adopt a learning approach to the role, improving skills and knowledge to continue providing a high-quality service for service users.
