Team Leader - PWS (Maternity Cover - 6 Months FTC)
The Forward Trust Personal Wellbeing Services deliver a range of interventions within Probation services across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Surrey, Sussex, Lincolnshire, Kent and Cheshire. Delivering a range of services under the following categories: Family & Significant Others, Lifestyle and Associates, Emotional Wellbeing and Social Inclusion as a fully integrated, holistic, single service. Supporting the wide range of needs that Service Users experience in relations to relationships and interactions with family, friends and others. Supporting clients to engage in a variety of activities to enhance their Well-Being. We will be providing a flexible, responsive service, delivering a holistic and cohesive set of interventions that are easily accessible to this client group.

What you will be doing?
You will be managing a team of practitioners delivering Personal Well Being Services to support adults in the Criminal Justice systems. The support is tailored to individual needs, delivering a range of programmes within the categories of Family and Significant others, Lifestyle and associates, Emotional Well Being and Social Inclusion.
On a daily basis you will be allocating caseloads, managing a small number of complex cases, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for delivering on performance targets set by Forward, commissioners and the prime contractor. And you will support the Regional Manager to ensure data accuracy and data submission deadlines are met.
Main duties include:

Oversee and ensure effective management of the service.

Compile the service rota and share with all colleagues in the team.

Attend daily meetings and all health and wellbeing case management meetings, as well as chair monthly team meetings.

Lead on and encourage integrated ways of working with partners.

Manage resources effectively in order to meet targets and deadlines in accordance with contractual standards.

Undertake reviews and adaptation of service delivery model in conjunction with RSM to ensure service delivery and targets are met.

Ensure that interventions are delivered in accordance with the needs of the service users, complying with internal process audits, continually ensuring that contractual obligations are met.

Manage a client caseload.
What we are looking for?
-
Demonstrable experience in the management of teams, performance and development.

Experience in key relationship management both internally and externally
-
Experience of contract management, recruitment experience, and/or data management
-
Previous experience of working in a 12 step primary care programme

Knowledge of the Recovery Agenda

A qualification in Management at Level 5 or demonstrable experience in a comparable role

Can work in fast paced changing environments.

Has confidence in own abilities and good eye for detail.
