3 Pillars Project works within the criminal justice system, using a combination of teamwork and rugby coaching courses as a way of engaging young people to deliver positive role-modelling and mentorship. We target high-risk young people, including under-18s, to tackle violence in prisons and gang-related behaviour through positive intervention. We also provide emotional support and guidance during each course through group discussion sessions and one-to-one mentoring relationships directed towards rehabilitation and reintegration on release from prison. We provide long-term support to all course participants, including referrals to appropriate partner organisations and/or encouraging future participation in subsequent courses as assistant coaches and peer mentors.

CGL is a criminal justice, health and social care charity working with individuals, families and communities across England and Wales that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and anti-social behaviour. Our projects, delivered in communities and prisons, encourage and empower people to regain control of their lives and motivate them to tackle their problems. We also offer volunteering, peer mentoring and employment opportunities across England and Wales

We are a registered charity working with young people to help them access employment opportunities in the construction industry.

Geese Theatre Company is a team of professional theatre practitioners who present interactive drama and facilitate workshops, staff training and consultation in prisons, secure mental health settings, young offender institutions, and in the community with probation services, youth offending teams and related agencies. A registered charity based in Birmingham, Geese works throughout the UK and overseas and has gained an international reputation for innovative work with vulnerable and socially excluded groups, becoming widely acknowledged as one of the key organisations championing the role of arts in the criminal justice system and wider social welfare arena. Our work provides solutions to a range of criminogenic issues, primarily focussing on attitudes, thinking and behaviour and addressing themes such as domestic abuse, sexual offending, violence, resettlement, substance misuse and offending, self-efficacy, and employability.

Good Vibrations runs gamelan (Indonesian bronze percussion) courses, in prisons and secure hospitals and with offenders and ex-offenders in the community, helping people develop crucial life- and work-skills such as communication, teamworking, creative thinking and concentration. Participants are then also more motivated to engage in other constructive activities.

Medway Mediation empowers people to resolve conflicts through mediation and restorative justice, additionally delivering anger management coaching, family mediation for divorcing and separating couples, and family group-conferencing. The organisation also provides training in mediation, restorative interventions, anger management coaching, peer mediation and peer mentoring.

We work to organise a network of pastoral support for Muslim Chaplains and staff; to prepare, produce and recommend teaching materials and accredited courses; to provide mentoring and job shadowing services for Muslim Chaplains; and to engage the communities for the resettlement of prisoners and help to reduce reoffending. We also raise funds in order to pursue the MCA's activities.

No Limits helps young people to help themselves through the provision of information, advice, counselling, advocacy & support services to children & young people (aged under 26) and their families. We operate through drop-in centre's )Southampton), weekly drop-in sessions & education programs in schools & FE Colleges (Southampton & Eastleigh)& specialist support in Hampshire, Portsmouth & Southampton including Floating Support, Resettlement of Young Offenders, Advocacy & Independent Visiting for Looked After Children (including Swanwick Lodge Secure Unit), Sexual Exploitation service, Mentoring - young parents, care leavers, young carers & those coming out of YOIs, Substance Misuse services, LGBT project, Private Rented Sector Tenancy scheme, Family Workers (Troubled Families).
We support 6000 young people a year, 50% of whom are vulnerable eg young offenders, homeless, mental health issues, care leavers etc.

No Offence! facilitates open access to and exchange of crime and justice information, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

No Offence! is a social enterprise, community interest company, not driven by private profit.

Our innovative and engaging approach facilitates the sharing of this information by instigating, supporting and encouraging communication and debate, which promotes wider understanding of complex criminal justice issues across society. By challenging barriers to positive change and influencing future policy, our objective is simple: to make a difference.

We have created a criminal justice information exchange service, which has become a centre for excellence, for the significant benefit of all who engage within the criminal justice sector.

The PPT supports prisoners, ex-prisoners and prison staff in their spiritual lives through meditation, yoga, silence and the breath. We recommend breath-focussed stretches and meditation sensitively tailored to students' needs. To this end, we send free books and a CD to prisoners so they can start a practice in their cell, we have a team of specially trained volunteer letter writers who correspond with prisoners who want support in their practice; we offer taster workshops so prisons can judge if they want to include weekly yoga classes as part of their regimes; and we train qualified yoga teachers for the specific challenges of working in prison.

There are currently 143 weekly yoga and meditation classes in 75 institutions across the UK and Ireland. Most of these are prisons, though we also work in approved premises, IRCs and secure hospitals. 32 of these classes are for prison officers and staff.

We maintain contact with over 5,766 prisoners in 223 institutions.

The Prisoners' Advice Service provides free legal advice and representation to adult prisoners in England and Wales regarding their rights, and regardless of the individual prisoners' means. PAS aims to educate and empower prisoners regarding the law and their legal and human rights.

Our mission is to change the systemic conditions that generate violence by developing innovative solutions to create positive peace.

We do this through three strategic change areas:

1) The Criminal Justice System: helping to reduce the level of violence within the criminal justice system by implementing effective interventions that support human development.

2) Community: helping to create safer & inclusive communities by preventing, managing and transforming conflict.

3) Research & Policy: changing policies, practices and perceptions that generate conflict through action-research and reflective practice with people affected by violence.

REACH INSIDE is a charity that has been set up to help friends and family members of prisoners to REACH INSIDE and communicate easily with their loved ones.
Our POST–2–PRISON project allows anyone with online access to send a photo and a message to any UK prisoner completely free of charge.
All you need to do is visit our website (its mobile friendly too) and send your message, we will then print it and post it directly into prison.

Samaritans provides confidential emotional support to prisoners, either by telephone or face-to-face. The organisation also selects, trains and supports prisoners, known as Listeners, to offer confidential, emotional support to their fellow-inmates.

Shannon Trust runs the Shannon Trust Reading Plan, an award-winning peer mentoring programme which encourages and supports prisoners who can read to give one-to-one tuition to help non-reading prisoners learn to read.

Spark Inside runs coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. We offer two coaching programmes;
The Conversation is our systems coaching programme that brings together large groups of prison staff and prisoners in a facilitated group coaching process to enhance their relationships, improve empathy, and support sustained, positive cultural change on prison wings.
Hero’s Journey is our structured life coaching programme for young people aged 15-25, in prison and through-the-gates, building their motivation to change, decreasing in-prison violence and creating a pro-social identity away from crime to reduce reoffending.
Our expert coaches are qualified and trained professionals.

Established in 2000, Synergy Theatre Project works with prisoners, ex-prisoners and young people at risk, towards rehabilitation, through theatre and related activities, while placing the wider issues surrounding criminal justice in the public arena.

We are Forward, the social enterprise that empowers people to break the cycle of crime or addiction to move forward with their lives. For more than 25 years we have been working with people to build positive and productive lives, whatever their past. We believe that anyone is capable of lasting change. Our services have supported thousands of people to make positive changes and build productive lives with a job, family, friends and a sense of community.

For over 40 years, The Prince’s Trust has been working with disadvantaged young people, aged 13-30. We help them develop the skills and motivation to re-engage with society, secure employment, return to education, gain qualifications, and ultimately, become economically active.

Our programmes offer personal development opportunities that bring tangible and lasting benefits to both the young people we support, and the communities in which they live. We provide quality services that deliver the best possible outcomes to those who need it most. Within our core target group are those who are:
- Unemployed, particularly those out of work for six months or more.
- Educational underachievers, including those who have been excluded from school or are at risk of being excluded.
- Those facing complex barriers to work and education such as offenders/ex-offenders, those with mental health issues, lone parents, those in or leaving-care or disabled young people.

Unlock is an independent award-winning national charity that provides a voice and support for people with convictions who are facing stigma and obstacles because of their criminal record, often long after they have served their sentence.

Firstly, we help people. We provide information, advice and support to people with convictions, including running an information site and confidential peer-run helpline. We help practitioners support people with convictions by providing criminal record disclosure training. And we support employers and universities in treating people with criminal records fairly.

Secondly, we advocate for change, working at policy level to address systemic and structural issues. We listen to and consult with people with criminal records, undertake research and produce evidence-based reports to inform policy makers and the public. We challenge bad practice, influence attitudes and speak truth to power. We co-founded and support the Ban the Box campaign.
