3 Pillars Project works within the criminal justice system, using a combination of teamwork and rugby coaching courses as a way of engaging young people to deliver positive role-modelling and mentorship. We target high-risk young people, including under-18s, to tackle violence in prisons and gang-related behaviour through positive intervention. We also provide emotional support and guidance during each course through group discussion sessions and one-to-one mentoring relationships directed towards rehabilitation and reintegration on release from prison. We provide long-term support to all course participants, including referrals to appropriate partner organisations and/or encouraging future participation in subsequent courses as assistant coaches and peer mentors.

We provide training, workshops, one to one and keynote speeches to empower individuals and families. We use our designed CHOICE program that works on supporting with the following areas:
Confidence, Health (mental health), Organisation, Identity, Communication and Empowerment.

We use NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Life Coaching and Mindfulness to equip our programme participants with the necessary tools and techniques that will enable them to turn their life around and thrive.

We can provide special services to Arab, Kurds and Afghani/Iranian communities in their language if they struggle with language barriers.

We use our booklets and teaching materials to enhance the learning process.

The AIM Partnership is a cross sector collection of private, public and voluntary sector organisations working across the West Midlands region undertaking action research for moving offenders into employment. The partnership also has multiple European partners based in Sweden, Sardinia, Portugal and Romania. The partnership is working towards being established as either a charity or social enterprise in 2013 to continue its pioneering work with those at risk of offending into the labour market.

Founded in 1991, we provide housing, support and domiciliary care to people recovering from drug or alcohol misuse | with mental health support needs | who have a learning disability | who are vulnerable young people | who are vulnerable families including single parents.

We do this by providing good quality housing, whether owned by us, leased from or managed on behalf of others. We encourage independence by helping with budgeting, finding work, training or education, finding and keeping permanent accommodation, overcoming social isolation and engaging with the community.

Anglia Care Trust (ACT) is a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable people, having worked with offenders, ex-offenders and their families for over 40 years. There are 3 core themes to our work: Helping people to keep a roof over their heads; Helping people to be heard; Helping people to feel safe.

In achieving this, we deliver a range of interconnected support services, inclusive of: Intensive Support; Floating Support; Advice; Guidance; Advocacy; Mediation; Housing; Alcohol Recovery; and Domestic Abuse Services.

The Arkbound Foundation works with people from disadvantaged backgrounds which include all protected characteristics, as well as poverty, deprivation, homelessness, alcohol and addictions, victims of abuse and any form of disadvantage.

We got founded by an ex-prisoner, we are equality and lived experience led, are in close contact with the beneficiaries we are supporting.

We provide writing and publishing services, which include writing for wellbeing, improving educational and career related writing skills, employability, social integration, improving mental health and tackling isolation, mentoring and editing support to get into publishing and journalism.

We run writing workshops for prisoners, motivational writing competitions which tackle stigma and aid social integration, also innovational book publishing projects.
We provide supervised work placements, arrange accessible and inclusive cultural and social events, and keep an open door to our beneficiaries to join us.

Aspire is a social enterprise that provides work skills training and employment opportunities for marginalised workers, e.g. the unemployed, the homeless, recovering addicts and ex-offenders. We collaborate with other organisations, e.g. prisons, probation, housing associations, Job Centres etc., to identify the individuals whom we are most able to help.

BAC-IN is a culturally specific, Peer Led, award winning, 'grass roots' drug and alcohol recovery service. In 2003 BAC-IN developed a unique and successful 'transformative recovery' programme designed to help the Black and Minority Ethnic communities with recovery focused and offender rehabilitation support.

BAC-IN uses an integrated and culturally competent approach, which offers a diverse range of services designed to maximise transformative recovery, supporting individuals to take personal responsibility so that they may achieve freedom from addiction and become productive individuals within their communities.

Whilst BAC-IN is a culturally specific service, it is not culturally exclusive. We work in partnership across all sections of society, sharing good practice, consortia work and consultancy.

Barnardo’s runs over 1,000 services for children and families in local communities across the UK. Our work includes reaching and helping children who have been sexually exploited, young people leaving the care system, children with a parent in prison and families struggling to cope. We find loving adoptive homes and foster placements for children in care.

Barnardo's delivers family engagement services and visit centres in Dorset and West Midlands, including evidence based parenting programmes, one-to-one case work, and innovative engagement programmes to support families of prisoners and relationships with significant others. We have specialist knowledge working with vulnerable groups including working with families of veterans who are in prison and extensive experience working with care leavers.

Our award-winning approach, BBM, helps people develop their soft skills (e.g. communication, self-motivation, time-management, team-working), improving employability and wellbeing. BBM produces quantitative evidence of the changes that are made.
We support organisations through our consultancy, using BBM Diagnostic to identify and remove barriers in systems and processes that stop organisations making the most of their people and doing their best work.

Basis Yorkshire supports indoor and street sexworkers in Leeds with information and access to services including sexual health, housing, physical and mental health support, benefits, support regarding sexual and other forms of violence and advocacy on behalf of sexworkers. We also deliver a specialist one to one service for young people experiencing sexual exploitation and abuse in Leeds, Bradford and Hull. We also offer training nationally in all our areas of expertise and related areas and campaign for the rights of our service users.

Beyond Recovery provides a cost-effective, evidence-based intervention enabling people in prison to uncover their innate mental well-being and improve their mental health and behaviour in prison. This enables them to have a stronger sense of purpose and to live a more satisfying and law-abiding life on release. We are committed to growth and impact through empowering prisoners to help themselves and each other through our Apprentice programs and Academy.

Post COVID-19 we have developed a Remote Service including Self-Study material, guided DVD’s and facilitator guided one-to-ones for prison residents. Online mentoring and guidance for our returning residents and their families in the community. And a community voluntary organisation led by people with lived experience.

Impact is achieved through personal realisation, or insight. Outcomes include significant increase in mental wellbeing, purpose in life and pro-social behaviour, and decrease in violence.

Chance 2 Change is an 8 session group based programme, using the cognitive behavioural therapy to reduce negativity and marginalisation in our communities. Each group works intensively with up to 10 clients and seeks to nurture good where otherwise negative behaviour can become prevalent. We aim to make other interventions more effective and responsive by creating a solid foundation of emotional strength upon which other services can be used to build a complete and robust package of support.

Without tackling the underlying causes of why marginalisation exits in the first place it is very difficult to bring about lasting change and therefore it is necessary to alter the thinking patterns of participants before addressing the practical issues otherwise their underlying emotions will always cause conflict both in themselves and others. We believe and have demonstrated that change must start from within and we are best placed to deliver this.

BF Adventure, established in 1989, has developed a well-equipped and fully accessible 60-acre activity centre (“Goodygrane”) with four flooded granite quarries set in woods and heathland on the rural outskirts of Penryn. From this central location the charity, also constituted as a limited company, delivers programmes to challenge and inspire around 4,000 people throughout Cornwall each year.

Its experienced and highly motivated team of instructors and volunteers use these exciting outdoor resources to support children and adults who experience multiple disadvantage including difficulties which stem from physical, mental, behavioural and/or learning difficulties. Through a vast range of activities ranging from archery, abseiling and bushcraft to watersports and the zipwire, the team supports and monitors participants in building confidence and self-esteem, developing life skills - with accreditations as appropriate – to promote engagement and positive change.

BLAST Foundation is a Christian "Through The Gate" Resettlement organisation, working with prisoners and ex-offenders and their families of all faiths and no faiths. BLAST aim to be provider of choice, for prisons and probation trusts wishing to reduce recidivism and improve resettlement for prison inmates who want to transform their lives and break their cycle of re-offending. BLAST achieves this through our transformation, employability & business programmes delivered in prison. These programmes combine and are supported by BLASTs mentor and resettlement services, to support ex-offenders and their families in the difficult task of re-integrating in society

We collect books from publishers, libraries, shops and individuals, sort and stamp them and redistribute them free of charge to organizations working with homeless people, prisons, offenders and ex-offenders, womens refuges, refugees,asylum applicants and others with limited funds. We want to see more Borderline Books groups in other locations - it is an excellent project for ex-offenders to run. We can offer an 'office in a box', plus initial supply of books and a wealth of experience. The project is very flexible and could be combined with literacy classes or writing groups as well as giving useful job-training skills. We sometimes have to turn down book donations as we don't have funds to bring them up to Gateshead so local editions would be great.

We are a Sport for Good, and Rehabilitation organisation that works with young people 16-25yr olds that are Not in Employment, Education or Training, Young Adult Offenders, those at risk of offending, young victims of crimes & abuse and other socially and economically disadvantaged groups .We believe in the goodness of the human spirit and that people change people. We provide support, opportunity, guidance and advice to disadvantaged young people through engagement in boxing, sport 
and empowering mentoring relationships.

We run bespoke programmes for large or small groups and deliver a one to one programme for young people whose learning and development would benefit from an individual programme. We create realistic alternative pathways with clear progression routes with the help of our partners. We have a strong emphasis on positive empowering relationships

Brathay programmes and community interventions focus on using proven techniques in youth development such as transactional analysis and NLP to forge real change in young lives.
We seek to engage with the reform of rehabilitation and potential partners for delivery of solutions. We have bases for operations across North West England and in Yorkshire and our programmes are replicable across the UK. We have a flexible, scalable and economical delivery capacity. We want to talk to potential partners including prime contractors and other tier 2 and 3 deliverers.
We have proven expertise in delivering effective programmes for diverse groups such as :

All we do is supported by research and evidence.

We provide volunteer mentors for people at risk of offending, including ex-prisoners, people on community sentences, homeless people and people with drug and alcohol problems.

We recruit train and support volunteer mentors who will meet with people for 16 weeks to help them to achieve their goals, which might be related to housing, training, benefits or anything else.

We welcome self-referrals or referrals from Criminal justice agencies.

Bringing Hope supports individuals and families, particularly those affected by high risk crime-led lifestyles, to lead crime free lives. We seek to promote a second chance for those who have been through the Criminal Justice System, with the aim of reducing reoffending rates and sustaining their decision to stop committing crimes.
