Basis Yorkshire supports indoor and street sexworkers in Leeds with information and access to services including sexual health, housing, physical and mental health support, benefits, support regarding sexual and other forms of violence and advocacy on behalf of sexworkers. We also deliver a specialist one to one service for young people experiencing sexual exploitation and abuse in Leeds, Bradford and Hull. We also offer training nationally in all our areas of expertise and related areas and campaign for the rights of our service users.

Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of people in Newcastle by bringing together the diversity and expertise of the voluntary and community sector to deliver a wide variety of services. The Consortium is a single point of contracting, benefitting commissioners by reducing transaction costs and befitting providers by developing them into a supply chain in which they can work together in a structured way. We have 40 members from the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

Currently we are delivering a contract to deliver an element of Fulfilling Lives, a highly innovative programme in to help people in Newcastle Gateshead with multiple needs (in terms of addiction, mental health, offending, and housing) to better manage their lives, by ensuring that the services they use are more tailored and better connected to each other.

Carney's Community, a registered charity, gets disadvantaged and excluded young people off the street and away from a life of crime and despair by giving them skills, discipline and self respect.
We achieve this through a combination of group activities (with a focus on boxing fitness) and one to one mentoring and personal development.
Our approach is unusual and particularly resource intensive but ultimately effective because we recognise that creating lasting change takes time, hard work and dedication.
Our work reduces offending, re-offending and anti-social behaviour, whilst improving social mobility and community cohesion. Consequently we improve the quality of life for the communities we serve.

We work in both rural and urban areas across the county of Hertfordshire. We provide infrastructure support to all communities plus host diverse Networks: Rural Issues, Village Halls X 4, and Community Energy. We deliver the Play Area Scheme in HMP The Mount; Community Garden St Albans. We also provide training to enable people to enter the labour market. We provide consultancy services: Health & Safety; Risk Assessments, Finance; Business advice - sustainability and workforce development.

We help offenders to lead crime-free lives that are meaningful and creative. We do this by running long-term music rehabilitation programmes in prisons, secure children's homes and post-release. Our programmes enact a Theory of Change, helping offenders to build the ‘human and social capital’ they need in order to desist from crime.

We run music programmes in 18 prisons in the Southwest and South of England, the Midlands and South Wales. We run post-release programmes in Bristol, Winchester and Exeter. Over the past three years, we have been developing music programmes for secure children's homes. As a result of this work, we have launched long-term programmes at Vinney Green Secure Unit, in Bristol and Hillside Secure Children’s Home, in Neath. We are preparing a new programme for Swanwick Lodge Children’s Secure Home, in Southampton.

Circles South West is an independent charity established in 2010. We work in close partnership with health, police, probation and youth offending services, uniquely providing Circles of Support and Accountability across South West England. We are the only recognised partner of the Ministry of Justice and statutory agencies/MAPPA, providing specialist support and accountability to enhance the management of people who have sexually offended in the community. Last year we coordinated 58 Circles of Support and Accountability, involving more then 200 volunteers around the region. This is more than 6400 direct volunteering hours, equivalent to £89,500 in kind.
Circles South West provides Circles of Support and Accountability, using four volunteers for each sex offender, to support and help monitor high-risk sex offenders in the community. We provide Circles for adults, young people with harmful sexual behaviour and for those with an Intellectual Disability. We also provide Circles for sexual offenders pre- release from HMP Leyhill, Channings Wood and Dartmoor.We work closely with Police and HMPPS.

At Citizens Advice Lindsey we are developing our services in many ways. We are committed to reaching residents not only in town centres but in rural and coastal villages.

CLI works to support offenders and those in recovery from substance misuse to rebuild their lives and re-integrate into the community. Our volunteer mentors provide support with practical issues as well as motivating our service users to overcome the obstacles they face and look to a brighter future.

Crest Co-operative are a social enterprise based in North Wales we operate a number of different community businesses and work with offenders on behalf of Wales Probation providing Community Payback. We also deliver back to work programmes specifically for ex-offenders helping them find employment employment locally and at the same time working with them to improve their skills and soft skills.

Criminon UK is a registered charity delivering distance learning life skills courses in many UK prisons. We are members of LASER Learning Awards (formerly the Open College Network South East Region), and have four courses accredited. Our accredited course "Understanding and Overcoming Addiction", aligns with learning outcomes of the NOCN National Qualification Unit's 'Introduction to Drug Awareness', Level 1. Our other accredited courses deal with literacy at Entry Level 2 and Level 1 and a simple guide to better living and self-respect at Entry Level 2. Further life skills courses we offer deal with Parenting, Communication and Personal Integrity. We also offer a Mentor Course which gives the offender the skills to help others with their literacy and allows them to give something back, helping them achieve greater confidence and self-respect.

Forward Assist Ltd is a registered charity dedicated to supporting former servicemen and women in England and Wales.
Forward Assist's ‘veteran specific’ projects offer support and guidance to former servicemen and women experiencing difficulties in adjusting to a new life as a civilian. Forward Assist support programmes include activities for all ages and physical & mental abilities. These activities are particularly relevant for former servicemen and women who are unemployed, experiencing homelessness, have experience of social exclusion or have involvement with the Criminal Justice System and are aimed at reintegrating veterans into civilian life.

We help individuals, organisations, agencies and employers in the statutory, private and voluntary sectors, to understand the extent and nature of discrimination and inequality experienced by individuals and groups in fields such as the criminal justice system, housing, employment, education, health and social care. The aim is to encourage them to implement policies and practices which will eliminate discrimination and promote equality of opportunity, and good relations, between all persons.

Our core purpose is to help very disadvantaged people and communities with complex needs to improve their lives. We use informal learning and mentoring to build confidence and skills, and help people find solutions to their problems.
We are experts at helping our clients in the most challenging circumstances progress to more mainstream learning provisions or other services.

We are successful with those who are hardest to achieve sustained engagement with. We are expert at helping people achieve accredited learning almost with them realising it. Many people in our communities have missed out on or had a negative experience of education. For many this leads to low self-esteem and confidence, isolation, inactivity, unemployment and poor health. Services often fail to meet the needs of this group, leaving large sections of our communities with little or no optimism for the future.
Addressing inequality in learning opportunities means addressing human dignity, yet it also constitutes the best social and economic investment for any society.

Founded in 2006 by Pallant House Gallery (and still based at the Gallery in Chichester), Outside In aims to provide opportunities for artists with a desire to create who see themselves as facing a barrier to the art world for reasons including health, disability or social circumstance. The goal of the project is to create a fairer art world which rejects traditional values and institutional judgements about whose work can and should be displayed. Since its inception, Outside In has engaged more than 5,000 artists traditionally excluded from the mainstream art world, 170,000 audience members and 80 partner organisations nationally. We have held over 30 exhibitions and currently support 2,000 artists. Additionally, Outside In is now able to offer an increasingly international platform for the artists it supports, having taken part in the 2014 Paris Outsider Art Fair, and being on the board of the European Outsider Art Association.

The PPT supports prisoners, ex-prisoners and prison staff in their spiritual lives through meditation, yoga, silence and the breath. We recommend breath-focussed stretches and meditation sensitively tailored to students' needs. To this end, we send free books and a CD to prisoners so they can start a practice in their cell, we have a team of specially trained volunteer letter writers who correspond with prisoners who want support in their practice; we offer taster workshops so prisons can judge if they want to include weekly yoga classes as part of their regimes; and we train qualified yoga teachers for the specific challenges of working in prison.

There are currently 143 weekly yoga and meditation classes in 75 institutions across the UK and Ireland. Most of these are prisons, though we also work in approved premises, IRCs and secure hospitals. 32 of these classes are for prison officers and staff.

We maintain contact with over 5,766 prisoners in 223 institutions.

We provide practical support to women affected by prostitution and victims of sex trafficking.

We provide long-term, practical and confidential support regardless of who you are or the journey you've been on.

We also work to change the conversation around prostitution, and help organisations who support women to deliver professional and consistent support and the highest standard of care.

RISE is a specialist provider of rehabilitation services to tackle complex behaviours such as offending, domestic violence, bullying and child maltreatment that can endanger families and communities. With foundations in London Probation Trust, the largest Probation Trust in the UK, we have a proven track record of providing offender rehabilitation services. We offer a broad range of accredited offender rehabilitation programmes, other bespoke interventions, and will provide consultancy and advise in terms of risk assessment in the area of Domestic Abuse.

Spark Inside runs coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. We offer two coaching programmes;
The Conversation is our systems coaching programme that brings together large groups of prison staff and prisoners in a facilitated group coaching process to enhance their relationships, improve empathy, and support sustained, positive cultural change on prison wings.
Hero’s Journey is our structured life coaching programme for young people aged 15-25, in prison and through-the-gates, building their motivation to change, decreasing in-prison violence and creating a pro-social identity away from crime to reduce reoffending.
Our expert coaches are qualified and trained professionals.

Step Together’s Ex-Offender Programme aims to reduce the number of ex-offenders in target areas who re-offend on leaving prison. We provide 1:1 support and match individuals with a cause and a specific voluntary role with which they identify, acting as a catalyst for change - improving personal skills, well-being and employability, and enabling them to be self-supporting and play a more active and engaged part in society on release.

Working on both sides of the prison gate, to ensure seamless progression from prison to community, the programme enables people who would otherwise be excluded from society to participate in positive and purposeful diversionary activity, improving integration, building a sense of belonging and involvement, a resilience to turn their back on the past, and opening significant opportunities for the future. The programme works with all offenders and ages, regardless of the offence committed.

Established in 2000, Synergy Theatre Project works with prisoners, ex-prisoners and young people at risk, towards rehabilitation, through theatre and related activities, while placing the wider issues surrounding criminal justice in the public arena.
