M.E.M Academy CIC employs sports as a valuable tool to promote inclusivity and equal access to physical activities, skills development, and career mentorship for at-risk and vulnerable children and young individuals aged 11 to 21. The primary aim of this initiative is to enhance their physical and mental well-being while concurrently reducing instances of anti-social behaviour and the risk of involvement in the criminal justice system. Furthermore, our services extend to aiding individuals identified as NEETs in acquiring accredited courses, securing work placements, and accessing employment opportunities.
Additionally, we offer tailored workshops within correctional facilities to support offenders aged 16 to 24 who are nearing their release and aspire to become fitness coaches after their release. Our support doesn't conclude at the prison walls; we continue to provide assistance to these individuals upon their release, guiding them in accessing accredited courses and employment.
