Diversity in service user involvement
10th December, 2pm-3:30pm | online | free, members only
This event will focus on the importance of diversity in service user involvement, and how to meaningfully embed diversity into your work. We’ll also look at the importance of centring the lived experience of specific communities and groups when developing and responding to work that affects them.
We will be hearing from Revolving Doors Agency’s lived experience team, who advise the national NHS England Liaison and Diversion Programme and are also members of its governance group.
We will also hear from another organisation about involving service users in work that challenges the inequalities faced by specific communities in the criminal justice system.
There will be the opportunity to get practical advice from our speakers, as well as the chance to discuss the challenges you face, and how to take the next steps in embedding service user involvement into your work and ensure that a diverse range of people and experiences are central to this.
Please note, this event is for voluntary organisations that are Clinks members only. If you're a voluntary organisation working in the criminal justice system, you can join Clinks for free right now. Find out more here.
